Events – October 12/13

The Northern Ireland Championships are at Meelmore and Luke’s Mountain near Tollymore at the north western corner of the Mourne Mountains on Saturday – entries are still available until Thursday 9th October.

On Sunday, Ajax are running a local event at Tymon Park, Templeogue. Starts from 11 to 1 pm. See here for information. Enter the park from outside the M50, from Castletymon Road, Tallaght.

The Welsh Championships are also on Sunday, at Newborough in Anglesey, only half an hour from Holyhead. Ferry times and prices, though, don’t really work for a day trip.

If you’re up and about on Saturday morning, don’t forget the Marlay Park Run 5 km at 9.30 am. It’s free – see details here. If you’re signing up, 3ROC are already in there as a club.

Remember to enter the Northern Ireland Championships (October 12th), the Connacht Championships (October 27th) and the Munster Championships (November 3rd). The NIOC entry fee has just shot up from £12 to £20, but the others are still affordable.
