Update: Friday 19th October

Half of the controls are out and conditions today were … interesting! Great if it’s like this on Sunday: slight breeze, mild and dry and with 50 metres visibility on the upper parts of the hill,  good visibility at lower levels. The combination of altitude and cool conditions did cause a bubble to form in my compass, though …

Pretty wet underfoot, but runnable as far as vegetation is concerned. You’re definitely going to get your feet wet, though, so bring plastic bags to put wet gear in
