TCD Super Sprint

The 3ROC duo of Colm Moran and Eoin McCullough took the first two places today in the TCD sprint race, separated by only 1 second after the twists and turns of a 2.4 km course around the historic campus. Clubmate Ger Butler finished in 6th place.

Colm is now lying 4th and Eoin 6th in the series where best two results from four events count. GEN’s Jonny Quinn leads with 2504 points, just a whisker clear of CNOC’s Kevin O’Boyle on 2500.

Runners from Cork, Fermanagh and Belfast joined the locals today and thought the new ISSOM map, the area and Conor Short’s courses were excellent. We now have three new sprint-O standard maps in Dublin so sprint-O might start to take off more.
