New Committee Elected

Welcome to the 2013 Committee of 3ROC: Ger Butler, Gerry Cunningham (Treasurer), Pat Flanagan, Emma McAuley, John McCullough (Honorary Manager) and Lindie Naughton. Brian Lawless has stepped down from the committee after several years (as both Treasurer and ordinary member).

At the AGM on February 15th the meeting deplored the proposed sale of harvesting rights in the state forests to private enterprise and urged the IOA to oppose the proposal both on economic grounds and because of the likely negative effect we feel it would have on access to forests for recreational and other users. (These were not the exact words but that was the sentiment of the meeting).
